Mr. John Rice, Chair, on behalf of the Board of Directors of the Moncton Northeast Construction Association (CANB – Moncton Northeast), is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Nadine Fullarton (formerly Boudreau) as President of the Association effective January 3, 2017.
Ms. Fullarton comes to MNECA with extensive experience in non-profit association management as she has provided management services to the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – New Brunswick (ACEC-NB), Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – Newfoundland & Labrador (ACEC-NL) and New Brunswick Building Officials Association (NBBOA). She previously held positions with the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – Canada.
With her background and extensive A/E/C industry experience, she has been recognized as a strong advocate for the associations she has worked with on advancing a number of government and business issues. She is passionate about the health and development of a strong and robust construction industry in the province of New Brunswick and one that remains focused on the ever-changing business climate, human resource challenges, technological changes and growing competition within the province.
She has a Bachelor of Arts (International Development Studies and French) degree from Dalhousie University and a French Language Diploma from Université Paul Cézanne Aix-Marseille in France. She has been active in the community both in Moncton and Ottawa and currently sits as a Board Member of the Boys and Girls Club of Moncton.
The Board would also like to thank Bill Dixon for his many years of service, while at the same time are pleased to announce that he has agreed to continue to serve the Association in an advisory capacity for a few months to assist the Board and Ms. Fullarton through a transition period.
